Quentin Tarantino says he only has two films left to make

Get them while you can, Tarantino fans.

Quentin Tarantino insists he's standing by his earlier claim that he'll only direct 10 movies -- and he's already made eight of them.

The infamous director spoke at the Jerusalem Film Festival last week following a presentation of "Pulp Fiction," addressing his filmmaking style, how critics perceive his work and his love of writing dialogue.

But his most pointed comments came when he was asked about his previous claims that he would only direct 10 films in his career.

"I'm planning on stopping at 10. So it'll be two more," he said, according to Variety.

It's important to note, of course, that Tarantino considers "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" and "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" -- two feature-length films released a year apart -- to be one film. He also doesn't count his contributions to the multi-director features "Four Rooms" or "Sin City" but does include his "Death Proof" portion of the "Grindhouse" double feature.

As a caveat, though, Tarantino did mention that his plan to only direct 10 films didn't necessarily mean he wouldn't direct films at another stage of his life.

"Even if at 75, if I have this other story to tell, it would still kind of work because that would make those 10 -- they would be there and that would be that," he explained. "'But the one he did when he was an old f**king man, that geriatric one exists completely on its own in the old folks home and is never put in the same shelf next to the other 10.' So it doesn't contaminate the other 10."
