Princess Madeleine of Sweden marries NYC banker

(CBS News) Looking like a real-life princess bride, Princess Madeleine of Sweden married a New York banker, Christopher O'Neill, at the royal chapel in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.

Princess Madeleine is fourth in line to the Swedish throne and married the wealthy banker in a ceremony done in Swedish and English. Guests included most of the crowned heads of Europe.

After the wedding, the couple took advantage of the perfect summer's day in the port city of Stockholm and sailed from the ceremony location to the Palace of Drottningholm to celebrate.

They were greeted with great pomp and ceremony by the Swedish royal family.

While he didn't get her string of royal names in quite the right order, it was clear to all the guests, that this was the happiest of endings.

In her 20's, Madeleine raised eyebrows with her reputation as a lavish party princess and her first engagement, to a Swedish lawyer, was called off amid rumors he'd cheated on her.

Soon after they broke it off, she left Sweden for New York and a few months later met O'Neill.
