President Obama's Schedule Today

President Obama today will participate in a tele-town hall at AARP headquarters where he will take questions from AARP members in the audience and over the telephone and discuss the importance of health insurance reform.

Later, Mr. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will meet with the Chairs of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, Vice Premier Wang and State Councilor Dai – in the Oval Office. They will briefly discuss outcomes of the first S&ED, as well as underscore some important issues of mutual concern, such as global economic recovery, North Korea and efforts to combat global climate change. After meeting with the president and the vice president, the delegations will hold press conferences in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
