Police: Man in zebra print dress robbed N.H. bank

ROCHESTER, N.H. -- A man accused of wearing a zebra print dress while robbing a New Hampshire bank has been arrested.

Wearing a zebra print dress in and of itself is not a crime.

Bart Augustus, 45, was charged Tuesday with a felony count of robbery. He was already being held in jail on a probation violation charge, reports the newspaper Foster's Daily Democrat.

Police say Augustus, of Rochester, N.H., robbed the town's branch of the Bank of New Hampshire on Oct. 23. They say he didn't display a weapon as he handed the teller a note demanding money.

Nobody was injured and he walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Besides the dress, the robber was wearing a black-and-white checkered bandanna on his head, black-rimmed glasses, a white shirt and a black overcoat. He was also wearing tan nylons over his head.
