(CBS/AP) SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Singer Stevie B, who's known for one chart-topping love song, has agreed to pay more than $400,000 in child support, after he was hauled off a Massachusetts stage and arrested.

Steven Bernard Hill, who performs as Stevie B and is best known for the 1990 song "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)," appeared in a Hampden County court Monday. He'll stay in jail until he comes up with a $10,000 payment.

Hill was arrested Friday at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, where he was performing. His two children and their mother live nearby in Agawam, Mass.
