NY zoo offers "name a roach" on Valentine's Day

A New York City zoo has the perfect Valentine's Day gift for your loved one: a roach named after them.

The Bronx Zoo is offering people a Valentine's opportunity to name one of 58,000 Magadascar hissing cockroaches with the purchase of a $10 donation, CBS Station WCBS New York reported. According to the zoo, the money will help in conservation efforts and it comes with a certificate.

"Naming a Madagascar hissing roach in honor of someone near and dear to your heart," according to the Web site, "shows that you've noticed how resilient, resourceful, and loyal that person is. You're not afraid to say, 'Baby, you're a roach!'"

If you want to pay tribute to your significant other for a Valentine's he or she will probably never forget, visit the Web site.
