Naked Man Tells Police... God Told Him to Walk the Streets Naked

THIBODAUX, La. (CBS/AP) A man is walking naked through the streets of Thibodaux.

(Stop me if you've heard this one)

Police in the Louisiana city say they responded to an obscenity complaint around 2 a.m. Thursday and found a man walking nude in the street.

So, they asked him, "Why are you walking nude in the street?"

The man, who was identified by police as Shafig Mohamed, reportedly answered that "America raped him" and that God told him to walk the streets naked to save his soul.

Ok, so maybe you haven't heard this one before.

Mohamed was arrested and charged with obscenity. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he awaited bail.
