Mom says kids threatened to "jump" missing Detroit teen

DETROIT - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 15-year-old Detroit girl who has been missing for over a week, reports CBS Detroit.

Callie Collier was last seen by her mother in the 3000 block of E. Lafayette on Thursday, April 16.

The mother said her daughter has had an "ongoing confrontation" with some neighborhood kids who "have been threatening to jump her," reports the station.

Callie is described as a black female, around 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 135 lbs., with a light complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing black and white jeans, a black jacket and black fringe boots.

Police say Callie has a temper, is violent and has been known to use drugs and alcohol, reports the station.

Anyone who has seen Callie is asked to call the Detroit Police Departments 7th Precinct Detectives Unit at 313-596-1140.
