(CBS) Miranda Kerr walks the runway and travels the world, but the Australian model says that motherhood is what makes it all worthwhile.

"It's definitely puts everything into perspective," the new mom told Celebrity Circuit on Wednesday, while talking about Victoria's Secret's "What is Sexy?" list. "I feel like the luckiest woman alive because I have a healthy child and to wake up and see his smile every morning just really makes everything worthwhile."

Kerr, who gave birth to son Flynn in January, says she's bonded with the other Victoria's Secret Angels who are moms, like Adrianna Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Doutzen Kroes, who are all balancing work and family life.

"For me, I've just been very selective with what, at the moment, I will do," she said of balancing her career and her new family. "I'm trying to maximize my time that I have with my son."

That time includes celebrating her first Mother's Day with husband Orlando Bloom and baby Flynn.

"I had a wonderful Mother's Day!" she said. "We went to the farmer's market and had a beautiful lunch together. Got some beautiful flowers. Very spoiled."

Kerr also said that being sexy, to her, means being comfortable in your own skin.

"For me, personally, being sexy is about being comfortable in your own skin and really just embracing yourself. But I think everyone is sexy in their own way, to be honest with you."
