Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth split rumors surface again

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits. Or maybe not.

Speculation over the status of the engaged couple's relationship has ramped back up again, with a new report saying the two have split.

Us Weekly, citing "multiple sources," reports in its new issue that Hemsworth has broken things off with Cyrus, a few weeks after the actor's brothers "staged an intervention" to voice their concerns about his engagement to the former Disney star.

But don't count these two out just yet -- E! News is reporting that Cyrus and Hemsworth are still together.

"It's been rocky, but they are hanging in there," a source said.

Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, 23, got engaged in June 2012. They met while working on the film "The Last Song" in 2009.

In March, Cyrus dismissed rumors that she had called off her wedding. A month later, her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, expressed that he wasn't sure if the couple would actually marry. And in ELLE U.K.'s June issue, Cyrus said her engagement to Hemsworth "seems right."

"We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed," she told the magazine. "But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it anymore."
