Michelle Warner: Body of missing Texas mother found after boyfriend confesses to her murder, police say

(CBS/KHOU) HOUSTON - Police have located the body of missing 31-year-old Texas mother Michelle Warner after her estranged boyfriend admitted to her murder, reports CBS affiliate KHOU.

According to the Midland County Sheriff's Office and the Houston Police Department, Warner was found partially buried on private property just after 6 p.m. Sunday.

Police say Warner's ex-boyfriend, Mark Castellano, confessed to her murder and was taken into custody in Harris County, KHOU reports. He reportedly told investigators where to look for the woman.

Castellano had originally told police Warner stormed out of their apartment after an argument the Friday before last. He then left town to stay with family members near Odessa and took their three-year-old son with him.

KHOU reports that the boy, Cayden, is now safe and in Houston.

Authorities have not yet said how Warner was killed.
