Mary Greff Update: Mark Spatucci, ex-boyfriend of slain N.J. mother, charged in connection with her death
(CBS) WALDWICK, N.J. - Authorities in New Jersey have arrested the ex-boyfriend of a 23-year-old woman who was found slain Wednesday afternoon at her parents' home in Bergen County, according to CBS New York.
Mark Spatucci, 22, has reportedly been charged with murder, child endangerment and burglary. He is the ex-boyfriend of Mary Greff and the father of her infant son.
Police said Greff's father found the woman dead in a bedroom, her son was unharmed in a bassinet just a few feet away.
Investigators classified Greff's death as a homicide after finding evidence of strangulation and asphyxiation.
Neighbors told the station the victim had moved back with her adoptive parents over the summer after breaking up with Spatucci.
