Marc Jacobs postpones New York Fashion Week show
New York Fashion Week attendees will need to update their calendars.
Marc Jacobs is postponing his eponymous label's presentation from Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m., because of customs and delivery delays.
"We're missing bags, shoes and two fabrics," Marc Jacobs International president Robert Duffy told Women's Wear Daily.
In a letter to "friends and Marc Jacobs family" posted on Twitter, Jacobs and Duffy added: "We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience and expense that this may cause you and your team. We very much hope you will be able to make it to the new show at the new time but if you cannot we completely understand."
The time and date of the designer's Marc by Marc Jacobs show has also changed -- it will take the collection show's original timeslot of Monday at 8 p.m. According to the letter posted on Twitter, that show will take place at the tents at Lincoln Center.
The Marc Jacobs show will be held Thursday evening at the Lexington Avenue Armory.
