Man calls 911 over 100 times in one month, claims body is controlled by satellites, Calif. report says

(CBS) SACRAMENTO - Jimmy Shao, a California man who called 911 more than 100 times in one month, claims he isn't wasting the time of emergency responders.

That's because he truly believes he's being watched by shadowy government authorities and claims his body is controlled by satellites, CBS Sacramento reports.

According to the station, Shao keeps a log book of every 911 call he's made and even boasts that he's probably set a world record.

Police in Sacramento say Shao ignored repeated warnings to stop calling the emergency line and was thus arrested for 911 abuse.

But Shao insists he had an emergency.

"My brain, I can feel it starting. I'm blasted by the signals, every couple of minutes," he said, according to the station. "I yell and I scream, 'Stop it, I don't need this,' but they never listen."

Officials call Shao's persistent calling "alarming."

"We know he's tying up resources that are desperately needed by other citizens in our community," Jena Swafford, of the Sacramento Police Dept., said.

After Shao was released from jail, he told CBS Sacramento that he plans to continue calling 911 "until Congress starts an investigation."

Maybe after they're done with this whole IRS thing?

Meanwhile, police say if Shao's 911 calling continues, he will be arrested again and they may look for counseling options to get him some help.
