The Liberty County Sheriff's Office says 42-year-old Lori Arrowood left her home on Saturday for a horse-riding event, but never made it there.

According to CBS affiliate WTOC, the horse-riding event was at N.C. Ranch located in Long County.

Police say Arrowood was last seen by her 17-year-old daughter. She told police that her mother left home with her purse and cell phone, but did not drive the family car.

No one has heard from her since Saturday afternoon.

Arrowood is described as five-foot- three, about 110 pounds, with brown hair. She also has two tattoos on her calf of a dolphin and a heart, and another tattoo of a rose on her thigh. She was last seen wearing jeans, brown boots and a white belt.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that her husband, Sgt. Nate Arrowood, is deployed in Iraq and has been notified about his wife's disappearance.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the Liberty County Sheriff's Department at (912) 876-2131.
