(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - Lindsay Lohan is back in court today. It's a recurring role.

The actress, at this point known as much for her own legal drama as her acting, is due back in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday so a judge can determine whether Lohan violated the terms of her probation for a 2007 DUI while under house arrest.

District Attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons says the office has not yet received information on the potential violations. TMZ claims, however, that Lohan failed one of two alcohol tests earlier this month.

TMZ says the tests were administered just after Lohan, still under house arrest, had a rooftop barbecue party.

According to the entertainment site, the L.A. County Probation Department will ask the judge to take her out of house arrest and put her in the county jail.

Lohan has been on house arrest since last month after she was accused of stealing a necklace from a store. She was expected to serve 35 days of a 4 month sentence for violating her probation.

Lohan supposedly resolved the theft case with a no contest plea in May, but her personal legal drama continues  like an unwanted encore.
