Lea Michele records "perfect" song as "Glee" returns

The show must go on.

The cast of "Glee" has returned to the set three weeksafter the death of one of the show's staples, Cory Monteith.

His girlfriend, actress Lea Michele, tweeted Monday: "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with. She has also been wearing a necklace with the name "Cory," reports People.

Michele wasn't the only one tweeting from the set this week. Actor Darren Criss also chimed in:

Taping of season 5 had been postponed in the wake of Monteith's July 13 death from a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol. His Finn Hudson character will be written out of the seriesduring the third episode of the upcoming season. The cast will deal directly with drug addiction in that Oct. 10 episode, with proceeds from music sales going to a fund in Monteith's name. Season 5 of "Glee" will premiere on Sept. 26.
