(CBS) It seems David's Bridal could not have imagined Kim Kardashian would be in the process of a divorce before its affordable version of her wedding dress hits its stores.
The company signed a deal with Kardashian to sell a version of her wedding dress and other dresses Vera Wang designed for the reality star.
The gown features Chantilly lace appliques in the style of Kardashian's dress and retails for $1,500.
Now, the question is: Will brides who were anticipating the arrival of the dress still want to put on a dress tied to a short-lived marriage?
According to the Journal, over 4 million people tuned in to both parts of Kim's wedding special that aired on E! on Oct. 9 and 10, so there is definite interest. But can that interest translate?
