A judge handed down the decision Thursday afternoon in a Bangor courtroom.

Keith Coleman was convicted in November for causing the deaths of 36-year-old Christina Sargent, 10-year-old Duwayne Coke and 8-year-old Destiny Sargent in December of 2014.

Coleman was also convicted of sexually assaulting Sargent’s daughter. He was given 20 additional years on his sentence for that crime.

CBS affiliate WABI reports that Coleman didn’t testify at trial but the jury saw a video of his police interview in which he said, “I did it. I don’t want to say that word, but I did it. I killed my girl.”
