Kathy Bates channels Charlie Sheen's ghost on "Two and a Half Men"
(CBS News) Charlie Harper has returned to "Two and a Half Men" - well, sort of.
The character, played by Charlie Sheen until the actor was fired from the show last year, will make an appearance in Monday's episode as a ghost played by Kathy Bates.
Bates, wearing Harper's signature bowling shirt and smoking a cigar, shows up at Alan (Jon Cryer)'s hospital bedside after he suffers a minor heart attack.
Harper was killed off "Two and a Half Men" during the show's ninth season premiere back in September, when it was revealed he slipped on a subway platform in Paris and was hit by an oncoming train.
That same episode introduced Ashton Kutcher, who plays Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, as the show's new star.
Bates' episode, titled "Why We Gave Up Women," airs at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
