Royal officials said last week that Prince William's fiancee would be marking her 29th birthday "privately" and gave no further details.

The day before, Middleton was spotted with William, attending the wedding of friends Sarah Louise Stourton and Harry Aubrey-Fletcher in Boroughbridge, England.

The royal bride-to-be wore a velvet coat with a plunging v-neck over a black dress with a sheer top to the Saturday nuptials.

It's the first wedding the pair have attended since announcing their engagement in November. According to Us magazine, William joked with photographers, saying, "It's not my wedding yet!"

William and Middleton announced their engagement in November and will be married at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29.
