Justin Timberlake's publicist: No new album in the works

(CBS News) Justin Timberlake isn't going to be bringing sexy back any time soon.

It's been six years since the singer-turned-actor put out a new album, and a rep has said that despite reports, Timberlake isn't working on music for a follow-up to "FutureSex/LoveSounds."

His publicist told Entertainment Weekly there are currently no plans for a new album. But Timberlake is working on some material with for Timbaland's upcoming "Shock Value 3" collection. And "that's it," the publicist said.

Since releasing his critically-acclaimed solo album in 2006, Timberlake, 31, has been busy pursuing an acting career, starring in "The Social Network," "Friends With Benefits" and "Bad Teacher."

He'll next portray a baseball scout in "Trouble With the Curve," which opens on Sept. 21. The former *NSYNC member is also attached to "Runner, Runner," starring Ben Affleck.
