Jennifer Lawrence is 2014's highest-grossing actor

All hail J-Law! The 24-year-old actress has an Oscar, scored her first Billboard hit with "Hanging Tree", and is officially 2014's highest-grossing actor in Hollywood.

Between "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past", Lawrence's movies have grossed $1.4 billion at the box office worldwide this year, according to Forbes. And "Mockingjay" is still in theaters, so that number could go higher.

Lawrence shows no sign of slowing down. Her first post-"Hunger Games" film is "Joy," about a Long Island mother who becomes a successful entrepreneur. It's based on a true story, and is being directed by David O. Russell, the man behind "American Hustle" and "Silver Linings Playbook."

To compile the rankings, Forbes turned to Box Office Mojo for global movie grosses. The magazine then added up each actor's grosses for the year to come up with the final list.

Coming in second on the list, with $1.2 billion in global grosses, is Chris Pratt. Pratt starred in this summer's surprise favorite, "Guardians of the Galaxy," as well as "The Lego Movie."

Scarlett Johansson took the third-place spot with $1.18 billion. Most of that came from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," which grossed $714 million worldwide.

Mark Wahlberg came in fourth based on his gross for one film, "Transformers: Age of Extinction," and rounding out the top five is Chris Evans, who starred opposite Johansson in "Captain America: Winter Soldier." You can head to Forbes to see the rest of the list.

Tell us: Who do you think will be 2015's top-grossing actor?
