SANTA MONICA, Calif. (CBS/AP) Actress Jaime Pressly was arrested Wednesday evening in Santa Monica and is under investigation for driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities say.

The 33-year-old actress-model was stopped for a traffic violation around 11 p.m. and was booked on suspicion of DUI.

Santa Monica police Lt. Darrell Lowe said that there was no traffic collision involved, nor were there any children in the vehicle; however, he would not comment any further on the details of the arrest, reports TMZ.

The "My Name is Earl" co-star spent the night in the Santa Monica jail and was released after posting $15,000 bail.

According to TMZ, Pressly's $15,000 bail may have been much higher than the typical $5,000 bail for a similar DUI offense because her blood-alcohol level may have been above .15%.

That has not been confirmed.

E! News reports that Pressly is married to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh and has a son Dezi with previous boyfriend Eric Cubiche.
