Gwen Stefani got personal about her divorce from Gavin Rossdale Monday during a radio chat with Carson Daly.

The No Doubt frontwoman sat down for an interview with the fellow star of "The Voice" on 97.1 AMP Radio to talk about her new music, but ended up opening about her split with the Bush singer after 13 years or marriage.

"My life is so extreme right now," said the 46-year-old singer. "My life basically blew up in my face. And now I'm in this new life, and it's pretty awesome I have to say -- I'm so inspired and being back on the show, and just being in a new place. Everything just feels new. I just feel inspired. I don't know how else to describe it."

Stefani said she has nothing to hide, explaining, "Everybody knows that I was married forever and now I'm not. So, could you imagine what my life is like right now? It's crazy! I ended up going into the studio. On the way to the studio, that first time, I didn't want to go. I wanted to be in my bed, crying. And I did cry all the way down Santa Monica. 'What am I doing? Why am I doing this?'"

Stefani also talked about going out for Halloween over the weekend with "Voice" pals Adam Levine and Blake Shelton: "I was literally that party girl that you hear about when their life blows up, and you're like, 'Yeah! I'm going out! Like, watch me!' We're just trying to have fun. You know?"

The couple filed for divorce in early August, citing irreconcilable differences for the split. They're going to share joint custody of their three sons: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.
