"Gone Girl": Ben Affleck proclaims his innocence in first trailer

The first trailer for "Gone Girl," the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn's bestselling thriller, has arrived.

Set to a version of the song "She," the trailer follows Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) a husband who becomes the prime suspect after his wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike) goes missing on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary.

The film is directed by David Fincher from a screenplay written by Flynn, is set for release on Oct. 3. Flynn has already said she's written an entirely new ending for the film.
