Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler debut new promo video

Why did Tina Fey and Amy Poehler want to co-host the Golden Globes ceremony?

"It's a sloppy, loud party -- and that seemed like our kind of thing," Fey jokes in a new promo video for the Jan. 13 awards telecast.

"Television and film get to be together [at the Globes], so the beautiful people of film rub shoulders with the horrible, disgusting people of television," Poehler added.

The two comediennes also shared some of their hopes for the ceremony (Fey wants to win best picture, for one), and predicted some of the winners -- though they might be a bit hazy on this year's nominees. (Their pick for best actor in a drama: "Daniel Day-Lewis, for 'Avatar.'")

The 70th Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
