GM CEO: "We're Open For Business," Sort Of

"We're open for business," Fritz Henderson told The Early Show Tuesday, adding, "customers can feel very confident" in the company honoring its warranties.
However, when told The Early Show contacted 20 New York-area dealers to see if they would service a Saturn brand vehicle, only four responded yes.
"We have some work to do," Henderson admitted. "We have no intention of not taking care of customers."
The government has said it expects GM to come out of bankruptcy
protection within 60 to 90 days.
GM's Chapter 11 filing yesterday is the largest ever for an
industrial company.
The company plans to focus on four core brands - Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC - and get rid of four others - Pontiac, Saturn, Saab and Hummer, which GM announced it has sold for an undisclosed price to an undisclosed buyer.
