"DWTS" season 20: Who made it to the finals?

After Monday night's emotional, heartwarming "Dancing with the Stars" semi-finals, everyone knew that Tuesday's elimination episode was going to be sad. For the first time in a long time, there was a strong case for every single dancer to make it through to the finals, but unfortunately fans had to say goodbye to someone.

The night progressed in the usual "DWTS" manner, with each couple individually being told if they were safe or in jeopardy. And other than Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, who were told right off the bat that they would be moving on, there were a lot of necks on the chopping block.

Noah Galloway, Nastia Liukin and Rumer Willis all found themselves in jeopardy, waiting to hear their names called. Luckily for Noah his legion of fans -- no doubt strengthened by his surprise proposal last night -- rallied together to secure the inspirational dancer a spot in the final episode.

Meaning it all came down to Nastia and her pro partner Derek Hough against Rumer and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy -- truly it was anyone's guess who would be sent home. However, despite Derek's popularity and Nastia's high scores, the Olympic gymnast failed to connect with fans the same way Rumer has, and she was sent packing.

After Monday's epic episode, all four of the couples deserved to face off yet again in the finals. However Riker, Rumer and Noah will all be battling it out in a grand finale that could prove to be unrivaled in "DWTS" history.

Also, we now know just how powerful Noah's fan base really is, and he could prove to be a greater contender next week than people realize.

The spectacular finale of "Dancing With the Stars'" mind-blowing 20th season kicks off Monday, May 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
