"Dancing with the Stars" set sent suspicious package, reportedly over Bristol Palin

A suspicious package was sent to the set of "Dancing with the Stars" this week, reportedly over Bristol Palin - echoing a similar event that happened when she was on the show two years ago.

An FBI source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that FBI agents, along with police, fire and health officials, responded to a report of a suspicious mailing at the set of ABC's reality competition, which is filmed at CBS Studios in Los Angeles.

The white powder inside the package was deemed harmless by law enforcement, THR added, but they are treating it as serious investigation.

No other information was provided, but TMZ reports that a note attached to the package read something along the lines of, "This is what will happen to you if Bristol stays on [the show]."

Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is currently competing on "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars." When she was first on "DWTS" in 2010, another threatening letter containing a white powder was delivered to the show's production office. That substance was also determined to be harmless.

Palin and her partner, Mark Ballas, were spared elimination on Tuesday's "DWTS: All-Stars" results show, earning enough votes to return next week despite receiving the lowest scores from the judges.
