Dakota Johnson makes joke about near wardrobe malfunction
Watch out for those hugs, Dakota.
Dakota Johnson, star of "Fifty Shades of Grey," learned that lesson the hard way at Wednesday night's People's Choice Awards when she accepted the award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress.
As she got on stage, she leaned in toward presenter Leslie Mann for a big hug -- a hug that apparently loosened Johnson's dress, nearly resulting in a wardrobe malfunction.
"It's okay," said Mann. "We got it."
"Leslie broke my dress," said Johnson at the podium, as she fiddled with the back of the top piece of her gown. "Okay, well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my boobs."
Though the chipper actress stayed positive, there was no need to worry; nothing ended up coming loose and Johnson did not have a Janet Jackson or Miley Cyrus moment.
In any case, we're sure Johnson wouldn't want her mom, Melanie Griffith, to see.
