Cops: 90 lbs. of pot mistakenly delivered to Pa. business

UPPER DARBY, Pa. - Police are investigating after 90 pounds of high-grade marijuana -- valued at $300,000 -- was apparently mistakenly delivered to a clothing store in Upper Darby, Pa. this week, reports CBS Philly.

The pot was reportedly sent from a California address in two separate shipments. The store's manager called police and is cooperating fully, according to Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.

"...Somebody is missing a lot of marijuana in the streets of our community," said Chitwood.

The marijuana is in sophisticated packaging so a drug-sniffing dog could not detect the shipment, reports the station.

Chitwood says authorities are investigating "the point of origin and also the name on the delivery slip."

Police tell the station that the name on the packaging has no connection to the store nor the store manager.

That the shipment wound up there was just pot luck.
