Sweetwater Mayor Manuel Maroño and several police officers left early Tuesday to look for the missing teen, who was last seen Sept. 20 on surveillance video leaving a Gainesville Best Buy with 18-year-old Pedro Bravo.

Bravo was named a person of interest in the case two days later after he told police he has beaten Christian and left him in a parking lot.

Bravo was charged with Aguilar's murder on Sept. 28. Aguilar's body still remains unfound.

A special church service is planned for Wednesday night at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a benefit concert will be performed at Florida International University on Oct. 14.
