(CBS/WBBM) CHICAGO - Police in Chicago who pulled a vehicle over for a traffic stop say they found a 3-year-old girl inside holding a gun.

According to CBS Chicago, police had initially pulled the vehicle over after seeing children not wearing seat belts.

As police stood outside the car, the little girl reportedly dropped the weapon, which had eight live rounds that did not discharge.

Police then arrested Queshan King, 22, charging him with endangering the life of a child and possession of a gun without a FOID card, CBS Chicago reports.

Bond for King, one of six adults in the vehicle, was reportedly set at $50,000.
