Cemetery armed robbery not random, not vandals, say suburban Boston cops
(CBS) NATICK, Mass. - Police in suburban Boston are investigating an armed robbery in a cemetery Saturday afternoon, and they say it's not a case of vandalism, and it wasn't random, CBS Boston reported.
Natick police believe the holdup at gunpoint was an attempt to recover information associated with a murder that occurred in New York City in the recent past.
Police said a group of three or four cars surrounded another car with five people in it at Dell Park Cemetery. The five were leaving a burial service.
The victims told police that two people pulled out guns and ordered them to hand over cash, cell phones and identification.
There were no shots fired and nobody was injured.
