Catwoman! New York Woman in Cat Mask Sought by Police
NEW YORK (CBS/WCBS) Police in New York City are hunting for a robber who wears a disguise that's a little unusual outside of Gotham City: a cat mask.
An unidentified woman wearing the outfit (no word on whether it's the Eartha Kitt or Michelle Pfeiffer model) was caught on surveillance tape robbing a shoe store in Manhattan, according to The New York Post.
The robber passed a note to the clerk claiming she had a gun and wanted cash.
She made off with $66.
The next day, catwoman struck again; this time robbing $500 from a beauty shop.
As police have released little information beyond the world's greatest police sketch - you might call these the purr-fect (editor's note: I am so, so sorry) crimes .
