Brain Gamer Lumos Labs Raises $3 Million First Round

They're a craze in Japan and popular on the Nintendo DS handheld, now here's more money going into the brain games space. Lumos Labs, the parent company of the Lumosity.com brain games website, has raised $3 million from Pequot Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and past individual backers. It previously raised $400,000 in seed money, according to VentureBeat. Funding will go towards the development of new games, as well as more research into the brain.
