HINDSVILLE, Ark. -- Authorities say searchers have found the body of a 4-year-old boy who was swept away by floodwaters in northern Arkansas. The search is ongoing for his toddler sister who remains missing.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says searchers found Damien Wiggins' body on Monday in Glade Creek, located about 130 miles northwest of Little Rock, CBS affiliate KFSM reported

Wiggins and his 18-month-old sister, Krystal, went missing around 3 p.m. Saturday after their mother's vehicle was swept off a low-water bridge. Authorities say their mother, who survived, tried to carry her children to safety but they were pulled into a swift current after they exited the vehicle.

The 38-year-old woman was found about a mile downstream.

According to KFSM, the search switched on Monday from rescue to recovery efforts.

The boy's death is the seventh confirmed death in Arkansas that's attributed to the weekend severe storms and heavy rainfall.
