Blake Lively debuts baby bump on the red carpet

Blake Lively has made a stylish return to the red carpet with a prominent new accessory -- that baby bump.

The actress stepped out for the first time since announcing her pregnancy on Thursday night at the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York.

Lively, 27, wore a fitted, floor-length nude Michael Kors dress embellished with lilac and champagne details for the gala, which honored CBS Chairman and CEO Les Moonves and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

On the red carpet, she told reporters that she's always wanted to be a mom.

"It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl," she revealed, according to Us Weekly. "I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."

This will be the first child for Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds. She shared news of the pregnancy with the world on her lifestyle website, Preserve, earlier this month.

"He's always good to me," she said Thursday of Reynolds. "That's like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."
