(CBS) - As the heat wave sweeps across 22 states - Nebraska, New York, Louisiana and Texas just to name a few - with temperatures reaching 105 degrees Fahrenheit (but feels more like 110 to 115 in some areas), it's important to keep yourself and your loved ones comfortable.

Fan your iPhone up
This might sound ridiculous, but if all you need is a little bit of air, HMB-Tec's iPocketFan App might do the trick. Although the adapter is more novel than it is a godsend, it can provide you with momentary relief. Try this cooling device
