"Don't ever charge anything on a credit card if you don't already have the money in the bank to pay for it."

The 33-year-old, who was dressed casual wearing a plaid shirt, straw hat and sunglasses, ended his speech singing a lengthy rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," with the crowd eventually joining him.

The fan-voted ceremony was hosted by "The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco.

"Harry Potter," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," "The Vampire Diaries," Selena Gomez, Robert Pattinson, "Glee," Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift were among the night's big winners.
