Ariana Grande is really sorry for licking doughnuts and saying "I hate America."

The 22-year-old pop star posted a video late Thursday admitting she's "disgusted" with herself.

Grande made headlines earlier after surveillance video captured her spitting on and licking doughnuts at a shop in Southern California. During the same doughnut trip, Grande was heard saying, "I hate Americans. I hate America" after an employee brought out a tray of large doughnuts.

The "Problem" singer issued a statement shortly after the video went viral, and in her new apology video posted on YouTube, Grande says, "I wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole doughnut fiasco and craziness, because I feel like the apology that I posted, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is not I feel like relative.... So here I am, apologizing again. I was trying to get you to understand where I was coming from when I said what I said. But that's not important and I'd rather just apologize. So I feel like now is my chance."

She added, "Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you had no idea was taken is such a rude awakening."

Meanwhile, police in Lake Elsinore, California, where the doughnut shop is located, said they, along with public health officials, are investigating the leaked video.
