Apparent Homicide Victim Trisha Bennett Mourned by Friends

HUDSON, Mass. (CBS/AP) Investigators are looking into the deaths of a man and woman found fatally stabbed in a Hudson, Mass. condo. Police believe the deaths are homicides and the incident occurred solely between the two of them.

Police say the victims, whose identities were not immediately released, were found early Saturday in the Emerson Gardens condominium complex. Massachusetts State Police are helping Hudson police with the investigation.

According to the Worcester News Telegram, the victims are believed to be a 20-year-old mother by the name of Trisha Bennett and a man named Angel, who was identified to the media by friends of Bennett. Police have not yet confirmed that these are the victims, but have said that they believe the victims knew each other

Residents in the condominium complex said Bennett was the mother of a 3-year-old girl who was reportedly not at home at the time of the killings, reported the website.

Residents claim they heard a woman screaming on the morning of the killings. The yells stopped before authorities arrived, said the newspaper.

There is a Facebook page dedicated to Bennett called, "RiP Trisha Bennet". A friend on the page wrote, "I can remember you since the day you were born...You were blessed with such a loving family and so many friends...You will be missed by so many..."
