Angelina Jolie gets evil in new "Maleficient" trailer

Angelina Jolie is making bad look good in the latest trailer for Disney's "Maleficent."

The teaser mixes footage from the original 1959 animated classic "Sleeping Beauty" and Jolie as the evil sorceress in this new retelling. 

Jolie is seen wearing the character's horned headdress and offering, ominously, to bestow a gift to the baby Princess Aurora.

Later in the trailer, she warns Aurora (played by Elle Fanning): "There is evil in this world and I cannot keep you from it."

Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville also star in the film -- and a few of the Jolie-Pitt children have cameos as well.

"Maleficient" opens in theaters on May 30.
