Amber Portwood, star of reality TV show "Teen Mom," back in jail for missed drug test

(CBS) - Amber Portwood, a star of MTV's reality show "Teen Mom," is reportedly back in a jail after missing a court-mandated drug test.

According to TMZ, the reality star claimed she was recovering from a laparoscopic gallbladder surgery which preventing her from making the appointment because she was ordered to say in bed for 2-3 weeks. But when prosecutors contacted her doctor, he reportedly said did not order the bed rest and that Portwood was well enough to attend the test.

TMZ also reports that Portwood could remain in custody for a couple of weeks.

Portwood was arrested last December for violating the terms of her probation on felony domestic battery charges but she was reportedly awarded a plea deal and avoided a jail sentence.
