Holiday insider: Best Black Friday deals

(MoneyWatch) Thanksgiving weekend is here, and with that comes the official start of the holiday shopping season.

While many retailers introduced Black Friday deals early this year -- some as early as November 1 -- it doesn’t mean they didn’t save a few for the traditional day-after-Thanksgiving rush (or in some cases, day OF Thanksgiving rush). There are still some great, untapped deals to be had, both in the stores and online. We got a sneak peek at some of those deals, and have picked the very best ones to feature here.
