Michael Emerson plays Ben Linus, member and one-time leader of The Others, here in the fifth season finale of the ABC television series, "Lost." The show's time traveling and plot twists can be confusing, but all will soon become clear...or, maybe it won't. What is also unclear to Emerson, he told an interviewer recently, is "how I ended up with these dangerous characters that I've been playing in recent years."
