Fire and rescue personnel in Glastonbury, Conn., use a canoe to rescue three dogs from a farm Oct. 10, 2005. Heavy rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Tammy flooded the area that typically only floods in the early spring. Some 80 dogs, in trailers for an upcoming dog show, were rescued, in addition to 20 horses.
