OKLAHOMA CITY (CBS/AP) In these cash strapped times, almost anything goes. In Oklahoma, a woman has pleaded no contest to prostitution charges after she was accused of accepting a box of chips for sex.
Police say they arrested 36-year-old Lahoma Sue Smith in southeast Oklahoma City after finding her in her car with a man who told officers he knew he could find a prostitute in the area.
Smith told officers the man said he didn't have any money, so she agreed to be paid with a $30 case of Frito-Lay chips he had in the back of his car, according to the Oklahoman.
The man, who claimed to be an employee at Frito-Lay, was not charged. His name has not been released.
Smith was not so lucky. She was hit with a $1,142 fine. It's unlikely the city will let her pay in chips.
