Day 17: President Obama's Schedule
President Obama spoke at the National Prayer breakfast this morning to start off his seventeenth day in office. He was accompanied by First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Biden and Jill Biden.
Later in the morning, he will receive his daily and economic briefings as well as meet with senior advisors from the Oval Office.
He will also sign an executive order to form a President's Advisory Council on Faith. The president will travel to the Department of Energy to address staff members. Later, President Obama holds closed meetings with Treasury Secretary Geithner and Secretary of State Clinton.
Tonight he will leave the beltway for the first time since his inauguration and head to Williamsburg, Va., to address the House Democratic conference at their retreat. Here is what's on tap, from the White House press office:
